"Heres some I made earlier"

I'm currently working on a really fun project, designing packaging and a wee bit of titles for a documentary project my friend is working on. It revolves around the view point of a man who is blind.

It's early days, still waiting on photos and text from the crew to accompany what I do, so I decided to start by mocking up some packaging ideas. Its been great fun getting stuck into something again, and the added stipulation that visually impaired people will be using this product is really good to have to get my teeth into.

Going to be doing allot of research on braile, if anyone knows anything at all about it, i'm all ears.

Have a wee look, any feedback would be great!

Cashier No 9

For those of you that know me, I may have mentioned this band to you before. Cashier No 9 are another great Belfast band that I saw while at home last week. They absolutely killed it when I saw them. Only bad thing was the fact that my mac won't read two of the tracks on their cd that I bought! Really looking forward to their upcoming debut album, which is being recorded by David Holmes! Good times!

This wee video is great too i thinks.

And So I Watch You From Afar

The second night I was back, I headed down to the festival marquee tent that was put up near the centre of Belfast. Saw about four bands that night, stand out though, and who I went to see mainly was "And So I Watch You From Afar."

These boys are immense, so much energy. Check out this track, great stuff. Best listened to up loud, very loud.

Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival

I have been back at home in Belfast the last week, at the tenth Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. Not only was it great to get home and see friends and family, after a couple of intense weeks of uni work, but it was also great to see that the creative industry in Belfast is really thriving at the minute, in music, art and events.

I plan on posting up a few things on the various gigs, films and talks I went to over the last week. Also plan on posting up pictures of some great mags and music I picked up.

There's my sad attempt at an itinery, I dont know why I did that, it passed a bit of time I guess. It's kinda cool to see what all I did though in that space of time.

See I even ticked them off!
